Our Engagements
Three Engagements, Each Scoped Precisely
Quorvus offers three advisory engagements, each designed for a specific client situation. The scope, deliverables, and fee are defined before work begins — so the client enters the engagement with a clear understanding of what it involves.

How a Quorvus Engagement Is Structured
Initial Consultation
An initial conversation — in person or remote — to understand the client's situation, identify which engagement applies, and confirm the scope and fee.
Document Review & Preparation
The practitioner reviews the relevant information, applies the applicable Shariah and Malaysian legal framework, and prepares the required documents.
Client Review & Signing
The client reviews the prepared documents with the practitioner. Any points needing clarification are addressed before the client signs.
Registration & Close
Where required, documents are submitted for registration or closing logistics are completed. The client receives a final copy and written summary.
Engagement 01
Shariah-Compliant Will & Faraid Advisory
This engagement is structured for Muslim clients who want to put their estate in order in a manner that aligns with Shariah principles and the framework that applies in Malaysia. The conversation begins with the client's own situation — family, dependants, assets, and any specific bequests they wish to make within the permitted bounds. The team prepares the wasiyyah, advises on how it interacts with faraid, and reviews related arrangements such as nominations and hibah. Where coordination with the relevant religious council is appropriate, that is arranged on the client's behalf. A clean signed copy is prepared for the client's safekeeping along with a written summary that the family can refer to in due time.
Engagement Fee
RM 720
Engagement 02
Islamic Finance & Sukuk Documentation
This engagement is structured for corporate clients and financial institutions involved in Shariah-compliant financing — including murabahah, ijarah, and sukuk arrangements. The work covers preparation or review of the underlying transaction documents, advisory on Shariah-aligned structuring options, coordination with the Shariah committee, and management of closing logistics. The team works alongside the conventional legal and finance teams to ensure that the structure operates cleanly across both the Shariah framework and the broader regulatory environment. A closing memorandum sets out the shape of the transaction, the obligations under each document, and any operational points that should be kept in mind across the financing's life.
Engagement Fee
RM 1,400
Engagement 03
Comprehensive Islamic Family & Commercial Programme
This is the most substantial engagement offered by Quorvus — designed for families, family offices, and businesses that want considered, ongoing support across Shariah-related matters. The programme covers wasiyyah and hibah arrangements, guidance on family takaful, structuring of waqf where the family wishes to make charitable arrangements, advisory on Islamic banking and financing matters, and where appropriate, support during Shariah court proceedings. Engagement is structured around scheduled touchpoints rather than ad-hoc requests, so the client has a predictable rhythm of advice. A written annual review consolidates the year's work and highlights any matters worth attending to in the period ahead.
Engagement Fee
RM 2,150

Professional Standards
Standards Applied Across All Engagements
Qualified Practitioner Assignment
Every engagement is assigned to a qualified practitioner from the outset. Advice is not delegated to support staff at any stage.
Confidentiality
Client information is handled with strict confidentiality and not shared beyond what is necessary to complete the engagement and any required registrations.
Malaysian Framework Applied
All advice is calibrated to the Malaysian legal and regulatory environment — including state Shariah enactments, BNM guidelines for Islamic finance, and Shariah court procedures.
Documented Outputs
Each engagement produces a signed, properly formatted document. Verbal summaries alone are not the output — the client receives something they can keep and refer to.
Defined Timeline
An expected timeline is set at the start of each engagement. The client is kept informed of progress and any changes to the timeline are communicated promptly.
Fixed Fee Model
Fees are fixed at the engagement level — not billed by the hour. The client knows the fee before work begins and is not exposed to cost overruns from additional time spent on the matter.
